Procedure:
Laser hair removal usually involves multiple treatments (somewhere between 5-15) over the course of 8-12 weeks. During each of these sessions a technician will direct laser light on individual hair follicles in order to form scar tissue. This tissue will prevent the hair from ever growing back.
Length of procedure:
Procedure duration depends greatly on the area and hair density of the desired region. It can last as short as 15 minutes per session or as
long as an hour and a half. Your technician will be able to give you a more precise estimation at your consultation.
Anesthesia:
Many physicians prescribe a numbing cream to be applied before the surgery. This helps ease the mild stinging of the procedure.

Outpatient
Cost: $400-$4500. Cost varies greatly depending on the areas treated, and the number of appointments needed for full results.
Risks:
In extremely rare cases, some scarring may occur.
Recovery:
Immediate.
Duration of
results:
Permanent. With time, new hair follicles may emerge. In this case, touch-up appointments may need to be scheduled.
